COVID-19 Precautions: Symphony Safe

Your loved one’s well-being is our utmost priority. With the onset of COVID-19, ensuring the health and safety for our residents and staff has taken on even greater significance. Symphony Safe is our commitment to putting in place the most advanced infection prevention strategy across our network.

COVID-19 Task Force

In early 2020, as the pandemic began to spread, Symphony enlisted a renowned infectious disease control expert and a distinguished gerontologist to lead its COVID-19 task force. These experts continue to work with our medical directors and facility administrators to implement the advanced infection prevention controls described below.

Facility Enhancements with New Safety Features

 All of Symphony’s facilities include:

  • Daily disinfections using eMist TruElectrostatic™
  • Upgraded HVAC with AIRPHX air purifiers
  • Check-in kiosk with temperature checks
  • Enhanced common areas including newly built patio

    Sanitizing Protocols

At the outset of the pandemic, Symphony enhanced its cleaning protocols for infection control specifically geared toward preventing COVID-19 spread. Staff are regularly trained on these specialized procedures. At all Symphony facilities, high-touch areas and other commonly used equipment are disinfected up to 12 times a day, including:

    Elevators
    Entry and Exits
    Hallways
Staff areas (bathroom, conference rooms, break rooms)
    Kitchens

    Admissions: Screening & Quarantine Measures

Before admitting new residents, Symphony conducts a comprehensive COVID-19 screening and testing to detect COVID-19.
